The interior décor in
modern buildings can include hard surfaces on walls and ceilings. These
hard surfaces can cause problems with reflected sound. Interior spaces may
be difficult to utilise fully simply because (a) noise levels may be
unacceptably high or (b) reverberation causes speech, music etc to be
hard to hear clearly or is distorted.
The
simplest and cheapest way
to reduce reflected sound or reverberation is to install sound absorbing
panels to the walls like Serenity Wall Panels, however when the
décor is such that the walls are not suitable then to next option is the
Ceiling. Installing Acoustic Ceilings can add too decor by altering the
fabric finish.
By incorporating Serenity Ceiling Panels
either as a suspended feature or by direct fixing them to the
ceiling the reduction in unwanted noise is quite Significant. Up to
100% of noise at specific frequencies can be absorbed by utilising the
thicker Serenity Panels or by incorporating an air gap into the
ceiling construction.
