Tonasorb™ Surface Finish for Sonofonic Panels

Sonofonic Ceiling Panels are finished with Tonasorb™ — a durable coating designed to provide both surface protection and acoustic transparency. Available in three grades — 700 Microporous, 600 Embossed, and S101 Textile — each offers a unique textured look and contributes to the panel’s acoustic performance.

The Tonasorb™ finish delivers a cleanable, impact-resistant surface while allowing sound waves to pass through to the acoustic core. This helps reduce reverberation without compromising the panel’s appearance or durability.

Tonasorb™ also offers high light reflectance, supporting natural daylighting and artificial lighting efficiency. The finish is factory-applied to the face and all exposed edges, while the rear of the panel is sealed with a non-woven glass fibre scrim for added protection.
